This is the checklist our technicians run on every weekly visit. It is also, step for step, what Pool School teaches you to do yourself in about 15 minutes a week, if you would rather learn pool maintenance than pay for it.
- Chemical testing and water balancing using chlorine, salt, muriatic acid, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate and cyanuric acid
- Service one day a week
- Brush walls, net or scoop out leaves and debris, and vacuum as needed
- Clean gutters and skimmer baskets of debris
- Check pump operation, valves, plumbing, motors, flow rate, gauges and seals, and grease as needed
- Check filter operation and backwash or clean as necessary
- Check chemical feeders, drums and output readings, and calibrate as necessary
- Clean tiles, filters and salt cells on an as-needed basis

How often should I have my pool serviced?
It's recommended that you have your pool serviced at least once a week for residential and 3 times a week for commercial.
What specific services are included in your pool cleaning package?
Our weekly pool cleaning package includes skimming the surface, vacuuming the pool floor as needed, brushing the walls, cleaning tiles, emptying the skimmer and pump baskets, testing and balancing the pool chemicals, checking pump and filter operation, and cleaning and backwashing the filter as needed. Every 6 months we lube all gaskets and seals and clean salt cells. Stain or metal removal is extra.
How do you ensure that the pool chemicals are balanced?
We use professional-grade pool testing equipment to measure the chemical levels in your pool, and then add the appropriate chemicals to balance the pH, alkalinity, CYA and chlorine levels.
Do you offer any additional pool maintenance or repair services?
Yes. Beyond weekly service we do repairs, equipment installs, renovations, inspections, openings and closings, pool lighting, hurricane cleanups and green pool recoveries, for residential and commercial pools.
